The Comus product family

01

What is Comus?

Comus is a brand of digital operations and AI solutions for restaurants, hotels, and vacation rentals. The family includes Comus Restaurant AI, Comus Hotel AI, ComusHost, Comus AI agents, and Smart IoT.

02

Which product fits which business?

Table-service cafés and restaurants: Comus Restaurant AI. Small and mid-size hotels: Comus Hotel AI. Vacation rentals and boutique stays: ComusHost. Market and performance analysis: the business AI agent. Guest chat/concierge needs: Comus AI agents. You can combine products.

03

What’s the difference between Comus, ComusHost, Restaurant AI, and Hotel AI?

Comus is the umbrella brand. Comus Restaurant AI runs restaurant floor ops (tables, waiter app, kitchen, QR menu, checks). Comus Hotel AI is a hotel operating system with an AI guest concierge. ComusHost is a post-check-in guest experience and local-guide platform that can create referral revenue.

04

How do we get started or book a demo?

Use the contact form or email hi@usecomus.com with your needs. We’ll help pick the right product and outline setup steps.

Restaurant operations

05

What is Comus Restaurant AI?

Restaurant management software that combines table management, a waiter tablet, kitchen display, network printers, QR menus, checks, reservations, revenue analytics, and end-of-day cash close. See /en/restaurant for details.

06

Can guests order from their phones?

Yes. They scan the table QR, order in Turkish or English, and can call a waiter or request the bill. Items with no remaining stock close for ordering.

07

How do the waiter and kitchen apps work?

The waiter app has a color floor board and touch ordering. The kitchen display moves orders through statuses; tickets can print to network / Wi‑Fi ESC/POS printers. USB printer support is in development.

08

What happens if the internet goes down?

With the Windows local setup, in-venue orders, kitchen, and network printing can continue on the LAN. Guest AI and automatic cloud sync need connectivity; cloud sync is still in development.

09

Is there day-close and accounting email?

Yes. The day-close report and shopping list can be emailed to addresses configured in settings. Staff documents can also be emailed to accounting.

10

Are e-invoicing and delivery platform integrations ready?

Not as finished claims yet. e-Invoice integrator connections and outbound delivery-platform APIs are in testing and development; we’ll announce them as they go live.

Hotel operations

11

What is Comus Hotel AI?

A hotel operating solution for small and mid-size properties: reservations, rooms, accounting, dynamic pricing, and a 24/7 multilingual Comus AI guest assistant via QR. Details: /en/comus-hotel-ai.

12

How do guest requests work?

Guests write to Comus AI in their language (e.g. “I need towels”); the request is logged and routed to housekeeping, room service, or technical. The dashboard tracks open, in-progress, and completed requests. One-tap WhatsApp forwarding with an approval link is being restored.

13

How do guests access it?

Guests use a QR code or web/PWA in their own language for menu, requests, and concierge — no separate app download required.

14

Does it help with KBS / TGA notifications?

Comus Hotel AI is designed to ease KBS/TGA operational flows. During setup we align the scope with how you already handle notifications.

15

How do channel manager / OTA connections work?

Channel and OTA integrations are on the roadmap; how they connect to your stack is scoped per project. Comus Hotel AI doesn’t have to replace your PMS — it complements operations and the guest experience.

16

How is pricing set?

Pricing is quoted by property scale. Contact us for a current proposal.

Guest experience & local guide

17

What is ComusHost?

A QR-based guest experience platform for vacation rentals and boutique hotels. After check-in, guests reach local restaurants, shops, and services from one QR; hosts can earn from referrals and commissions.

18

Does ComusHost conflict with my PMS or channel manager?

No. ComusHost is not a PMS — it’s the post-check-in experience and local ecosystem layer that works alongside your existing software.

19

How do merchant partnerships and commissions work?

ComusHost isn’t a party to your commercial deal with merchants — it provides the infrastructure. Referrals and orders are logged in the dashboard for month-end reconciliation. Formalizing income as a promotion/marketing service fee is a common approach.

20

What if a merchant delivers poor service?

You choose who appears in your guide. You can hide or remove a merchant from the dashboard if they underperform.

21

Will I need a developer for maintenance?

No. ComusHost is SaaS — hosting, updates, and security are handled by Comus. You use the dashboard.

22

Do I have to enter content room by room?

No. Create content once and publish it to all units. You only customize further for profiles like family or suite rooms.

AI agents

23

What do Comus AI agents do?

They help automate restaurant menu/order chat, hotel guest concierge, and for businesses market research, competitor analysis, and predictive reporting. Each agent is configured for your operation.

24

What languages are supported?

Agents are built to be multilingual, including English and Turkish, with optional voice in supported languages. Exact coverage is set with you based on guest/customer profile.

25

How is the business AI agent different from a chatbot?

A chatbot mostly returns canned answers. The business AI agent focuses on market, competitor, and profitability analysis — a business-intelligence and automation layer.

26

Can it integrate with POS or IoT?

Restaurant flows aim to connect within the Comus ecosystem. Third-party POS and Smart IoT links are evaluated case by case against your stack.

Other questions

27

What is Smart IoT?

A roadmap area for integrating the physical venue with smart devices. Content will expand as the offering matures; it’s early-stage today.

28

When does the mobile app launch?

The mobile app is in development. We don’t publish a fixed date; we’ll announce it on the site and to businesses we work with. The management panel can already be used in the browser (and via a Capacitor shell).

29

Where can I read more product detail?

Product pages spell out features, limits, and in-development items: /en/restaurant, /en/comus-hotel-ai, /en/solutions, /en/comus-ai, and /sunum (ComusHost).
